Sensitive Video Production on location at Berrywood Hospital

CLIENT: Northamptonshire NHS Foundation Trust

BRIEF: To create a ‘promotional’ film of the new treatment facilities at Berrywood Hospital.

RESULT: A compelling short film that helps individuals and families feel comfortable about the mental health care they are likely to receive.

We were commissioned at the beginning of the year to write and produce a short film that would help to demystify mental health care treatment as well as showcase the new, leading edge facilities at Berrywood Hospital. The film was written and directed by In Situ’s Senior Producer, Andy Dean and was shot over two days in High Definition video. In Situ has gathered many years of experience shooting in sensitive areas around patients and once again the knowledge proved to be invaluable. Bridget Peet, Communications Director of the Trust had this to say: “Working with Paul and Andy is always enjoyable and rewarding, they teased out my loose brief in to a great script and the final film exceeds my expectations – it will prove to be a really useful tool in the field and it shows how video can be such a cost effective way of communicating otherwise difficult messages”.
